process

No two rooms are the same.

But the process we follow almost always has the same steps in the same order. We are normally dealing with historic homes, and therefore, we all need to remain flexible when the unexpected occurs.

“Testerman is great to work with. Flexible, creative, meticulous, and professional. Specifically, the tile work he did in our bathrooms is impeccable. I can’t thank him enough.”

Walk Through

The first step is talking about your home, in your home.

We’ll learn about your wishes for your rooms, and also discuss flow, aesthetics, and your investment.

All-Inclusive Pricing

After our walk through and conversation, we’ll come back to you with an investment level that includes design, labor, electric, plumbing, construction supplies, drywall, painting, and finish installations, as well as an allowance for tile.

Your all-in pricing will not include product costs of appliances, vanities, mirrors, or specialty lighting fixtures.

Design

To provide a clear plan on exactly how we’ll bring your dream room to life, our designer will create a detailed plan that includes any structural changes or floorplan revisions, as well as fixture placement, finishes, and mechanicals.

Construction

Once we are all in agreement on the design of your room, the demo and construction begins. We will work as efficiently as possible to minimize the impact on your family and the rest of your home.

Brian will be onsite every day, working with the crew to not only keep things progressing, but also solve for those little surprises that seem to always pop up in older homes.

Finishes

Backsplashes, shower surrounds, vanities, flooring, mirrors, paint, and more.

This is when your bathroom, kitchen, or other room starts to feel real. When you see your vision become a reality.

Completion

Tada.

Your room is done – in most cases, faster than anticipated. It’s now time for you to start enjoying it.
